Are ya faq'in kidding me, a pointless and expensive digital Series dust-collecting X Box!

M$ has made it crystal clear that they hate their paying customers, this is 2013 all over again!

Take your digital worthless box and shove it!!!!!

If this is the direction they are heading at, sad that I will most likely not buy another XB!

At this point I would Advise no-one to buy this after what they just pulled this week. You would do better buying PC parts at this time.

@ceelogreen94: Agreed. I love consoles, but you will buy online multiplayer games on the XB and then they will hold your games as hostage by continuously raising prices to play online (i.e. gamepASS).

Best just to use my PC, where I can play online for free.

A 4yr old xbox console, bumped up in price by $100, for 1tb extra storage and paint sprinkled over the exterior. No way.

The prices are unjustifiable, I am sure whales will buy this day one, but more then anything it should come down in price along with expanded storage with a console refresh.

@jenovaschilld: So what is your sweet price point? You give me that piece of digital garbage for free and I will throw it off the top of a roof.

Why waste anymore money on XB, where they will just keep on raising prices to play online with their greed, which knows no boundaries.

@just1mohr: Well I take all mass consumer media products for what they are, a (product = to a X value) in entertainment, that I am willing to spend. To me an xbox is the same as a PS, or a toy mouse on a string to pull around for a cat. I do not believe a corporation should be given emotional bias or allegiance in anyway, just whether it is a good value for what me or my family may need.

So on that, I personally would not buy digital straight off, but hold no ill will to those that do. It is just a loss in value. So the digital xbox is out. There is a lack of competition this generation, along with inflation these, consoles have not come down in prices like past console generations. Even though producing them has gotten cheaper for them.

Considering what the xbox library presently is, and what their console can do, along with what games come to the system and when... I would pay over $370 for a xbox X with 2 tb with disc drive. (if I did not own one already) Considering that 1tb (extra) of storage costs them less then $40, there is no logical reason to pay $100 more for it. I can play several games, and just erase the ones I am not playing for new ones. Redownload games, if I want to play them later.

Yeah, $370 or under, is a fair price for a 4 yr old system, that has no compelling exclusives at this time. And what few they did have this last two generations, I have already played. Gamepass holds no interest for me, I did not renew my PC gamepass a year ago. Only window flight was compelling, and starfield was a boring let down.

Also I would not pay more the $400 for a ps5 1tb with disc drive, at this point in the 9th gen.

@sippio: I quite like the design of the Series X. I just wish there was more to play on it.
